SMCMS provide a fully mobile, multi-point service for caravans, motorhomes, trailers and horse boxes. You don’t have to worry about hitching up and towing to me, with my fully equipped vehicle, I can come to you and cater to any problem that may need attention
Caravan Service Costs:
Single axle service £210.00 (inc VAT) (plus parts)
Twin axle service £240.00 (inc VAT) (plus parts)
*** Brake strip down to clean and adjust will require a new “One Shot Hub Nut” per brake drum, style and size will dictate the price per nut ***
Habitation Service Costs
Motorhome Habitation Check £199.80 (inc VAT) excluding parts
*** No additional work will be carried out without your prior permission
*** With your invoice you will receive a full 5 page service inspection report and I will stamp your service record book accordingly
Breakdown Call-Out Fee
Call-outs are dealt with on an individual basis and distance covered: POA
SMCMS multi-point servicing includes:
✓ 12 volt systems including Charger, Battery, Lighting and Fittings are tested and inspected
✓ 240v systems including Consumer Unit, Sockets and Appliances are tested and inspected
✓ Water system tested for leaks, taps, micro switches, pressure switches, pumps and water heaters are all tested during service
✓ Damp testing – a percentage meter reading is carried out and any above average readings (up to 15% moisture content is acceptable) are subject to a written report and an estimated cost for repair
✓ Gas system pressure tested for gas soundness with appliance CO levels checked and reported
✓ All appliances tried and tested
✓ Flues and drop holes inspected
✓ Tyre inspection for damages, cracking, tread depths and pressure
✓ Brakes stripped, cleaned, inspected and adjusted (new hub nuts used without exception)
✓ Corner steadies lubricated
✓ Spare wheel carrier accessed, lubricated and spare wheel inspected
✓ Hitch assembly lubricated, inspected, and adjusted
✓ Hitch head stabilisers checked for pad wear and condition
✓ Road lights checked and inspected
✓ The caravan / motorhome is then inspected for general wear and condition
✓ Full 5 page written report provided on completion
